I think the first thing that stuck with me, even though it's so simple and should be obvious, was the reminder that when you drink alcohol, you are imbibing POISON. That stuck with me, because when put like that, it seems like a really stupid thing to do. But what I really appreciated about the program was the way it encouraged me to take a good look at myself and reflect on where I am in my life.

The section about the 5 Elements of Wellbeing really hit hard and gave me lots of food for thought about where I am in my life and why happiness sometimes feels like it's eluding me. So, I'd say my most valuable take away was the self reflection, the program really made me think about myself, which is something that I should really be doing more often and many of us probably don't do enough. I would tell anyone that is thinking about this program, aside from the whole sobriety aspect, you'll also learn a few things about self-care and well being, regardless of your sober status.
